General Information:

General Kinetics Inc is the most recent US company involved with the application of hydrogen peroxide in propulsion and power applications. Devices have been demonstrated with flow rates between 120 and 0.01 lbm/s using hydrogen peroxide concentrations between 30 and 99%. General Kinetics was the first and only company to field devices operating on 70% hydrogen peroxide. General Kinetics Inc holds the following public records for hydrogen peroxide use: largest 98% gas generator, lowest temperature start for hardware and fluid, highest max flux with 70%, 90% & 98% hydrogen peroxide, fastest hydrogen peroxide-JP start transient. In addition General Kinetics performed the propellant dispersion testing which led to the impurity and stabilizer limits presently used in MIL-PRF-16005 Rev F.  Programs in which General Kinetics has participated: Advanced Reusable Rocket Engine, Airborne Laser (ABL), Tactical High Energy Laser (THEL), NASA Space Launch Initiative, Livermore KEW.

Customers: Aerojet, Aerospace Corporation, ARC, ATK, Barbar-Nichols, Boeing, DARPA, ERC, Honeywell, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, Marotta, Microcosm, Moog, NASA (Dryden, KSC, MSFC, SSC), TRW (became Northrop Grumman), Purdue, PSI, Rocketdyne, SAIC, Sandia Natl Labs, SARA, Schafer, Space Launch Corp., UTC/P & W, United Paradyne, UC Berkeley, USAF
